Course Summary

Struggling to know the right approach when supporting a person affected by grief and hoarding?

Working with individuals who hoard can be complex, and it’s not always clear when the behaviour is rooted in unresolved loss, trauma, or bereavement. Grief can manifest in many ways, and recognising when hoarding is connected to emotional pain requires sensitivity, awareness, and a compassionate approach.

Our skills booster session on Hoarding and Grief helps practitioners understand how grief can contribute to hoarding behaviours, identify the signs that someone is struggling with loss, and build confidence in offering supportive, person-centred interventions.
