Clouds End CIC has been at the forefront of addressing hoarding issues in the UK since 2009. Founded by Heather Matuozzo, a recognised expert in the field, our mission is to transform lives through compassionate support, evidence-based practices, and specialist training programmes.

Since 2019, we have been backed by Birmingham City Council to operate our Chaos 2 Order project, this initiative adopts a multi-agency, person-centred approach, working alongside other organisations to provide tailored support to individuals in Birmingham.

Hoarding Research 

Our incredible team member Sam Wainman is a Psychologist currently completing a PhD at the University of Birmingham focused on gaining a deeper understanding of how we can best support those facing hoarding difficulties. He shares his research through blogs, training and free seminars.

National Hoarding Awareness Week

Devised in 2014 by the Chief Fire Officers Association, in affiliation with Cherry Rudge as part of APDO and Clouds End CIC, we now proudly manage each year, organising events, sharing knowledge and bringing people together to raise awareness for hoarding disorder and behaviour.
