Inequality in Health Conference

Last week, our psychologist and hoarding co-ordinator Sam, attached a conference all about tackling health inequality in Birmingham.

It was a great opportunity to come together with other local organisations to discuss how marginalised or underrepresented groups are often let down by the systems that are meant to serve them. And while there’s still lots of work to be done, it was super encouraging to see how much buy-in there is from health, local authority, research, charity sectors etc.

People who have hoarding difficulties often struggle with other physical and mental health difficulties too so it was great to be part of the discussion and be able to advocate for our community.
