BBC News feature UK Parliament debate on Hoarding Disorder

We are so pleased that BBC Midlands Today continued the important national conversation that began with their feature on our Chaos to Order project, including our founders initial visit to parliament to discuss national guidelines, earlier this year.
Last nights feature provided an insight into the House of Commons debate which took place on Wednesday 22nd October, where UK Parliament for the first time discussed hoarding disorder and the urgent need for national guidelines to support.
We are honoured for the BBC to give us a platform to showcase the impact compassionate and coordinated support can have on the lives of individuals living with hoarding behaviours. This matter ending up in Parliament is hugely attributed to by the impact of their four part segment on our Chaos to Order Project which went out earlier in the year.
It highlighted the journeys of a few of our incredible clients and their experiences with hoarding disorder, as well as documenting our founder Heathers initial visit to Parliament to visit MP Paulette Hamilton, where she first brought attention to the urgent need for national guidelines to hoarding support.
We extend our sincere thanks to Ben Godfrey and the BBC News team for continuing to report on this issue with sensitivity and respect. Responsible and compassionate journalism plays a vital role in changing public perceptions and influencing meaningful, long-term support.
We are also grateful to MP Paulette Hamilton for her ongoing advocacy and for ensuring that hoarding disorder becomes a visible and important national issue. Her leadership has helped bring this topic into spaces where real change is possible, encouraging dialogue, policy consideration, and a deeper understanding of the condition as a mental health issue rather than a matter of personal choice
And last but not least, we want to express our deepest thanks to David, whose bravery in sharing his experience has allowed others to better understand the realities of living with hoarding disorder.
This is an incredible moment in history that we hope is only just the start of working towards a world where people living with hoarding disorder receive support rooted in empathy, dignity and understanding.
