Royal Greenwich Safeguarding Adults Conference

 

Our director Heather and psychologist Sam attended the Royal Greenwich Safeguarding Adults Conference yesterday, it’s focus was Self Neglect & Hoarding and in support of National Safeguarding Adults week.

It was a great day for local authorities & welfare professionals to come together to be educated and updated on current legislation, training & projects going on both locally & nationally.

 

 

Heather gave an insight into our Chaos to Order project, funded by Birmingham City Council,  which is a multi-agency approach to supporting residents with hoarding challenges.

Sam gave an insight into his PhD studies at The University of Birmingham which is working to better understand and develop treatment pathways for hoarding disorder.
